While the game is still in Early Access, PUBG will soon be getting a fancy new UI which will hopefully give it that extra little bit of polish that gamers have been asking for. There is no doubt that Early Access games sometimes have a shoddy UI as that is the least of the dev's worries when making the game. PUBG's UI feels cheap at times and things could work a little better. Luckily it does not affect gameplay.
Well, it seems that your prayers will be answered soon as Brendan Greene himself confirmed that the game will be getting a new UI refresh. It all started with CreativeGrenade posting a mock up of a UI that he created for the game (pictured above). Sort of like a concept if you may. Brendan saw this and was pretty impressed with it. However, without saying anything more he responded with “I think you will be pleasantly surprised when you see what we have been working on.”
Take it as hearing it from the horse's mouth but there you have a new UI confirmed for PUBG. While I doubt it will take over the development of the game such as new content and the improvement of the current game, this new UI news is still good information and I am sure many of you who play the game will be excited to see it in action whenever it releases.
It might take a while though, and perhaps even release closer to the actual Xbox One version of the game. We know the PUBG has been confirmed for the Xbox One by the end of 2017, so we might see the new UI land just before that.
