The International 2019 Fantasy Challenge Day 2 Roster Picks

Fantasy Challenge Day 2 The International 2019

The International 2019’s group stage kicked off early in the morning and while the matches are still raging on, we’ve got our Fantasy Challenge Day 2 roster picks to share. You have until 03:00 on 16 August 2019 to fill in your picks and if you don’t have time to do the research and make your own picks, we’ve got you covered.

Our picks for Day 1 are doing extremely well so far and hopefully, the day will finish up with a bang, with stand-out performances from TNC’s Tims and PSG.LGD’s Maybe leading the way at the time of writing. So let’s get into the details of these picks for the Fantasy Challenge Day 2.

For these picks, I took into account only the teams that are scheduled to play three matches on the day, which all come from Group B. However, Virtus.Pro, Royal Never Give Up and Fnatic are only scheduled to play two games. Basically, don’t pick any players from the aforementioned three teams or anyone from Group A.

This leaves us with players from six teams, namely OG, EG, VG, Infamous, NiP and Na’Vi. What you are looking for in picks depends on the cards you have and much more. Some general rules to follow is that you should never pick a PO3 as one of your cores, you should pick players from teams that you think will have longer matches and prioritize picks based on player stats combined with their position.

As you can see, I went with two PO5 supports. For my mid player, I went with Ori, as he has been doing extremely well and Vici Gaming is looking on point. VG might also have two drawn-out, tough matches against EG and VP, which makes the pick even more appealing if you think VG will walk away with some wins.

There are some tough calls in this day’s Fantasy Roster picks and there are quite a lot that can go wrong, but I am fairly confident that these picks will do exceptionally well, considering performances from Day 1 and the matches players from these teams will be participating in.
