Apple announced the South African price list for this year’s Apple Watch Series 4, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. All three items are available to purchase on credit via the iStore, or FNB.
Apple Watch Series 4
As always, it is exquisitely beautiful. And pricey. There are two options available; the Apple Watch Series 4 GPS (available on September 28), and the Apple Watch Nike+ Series 4 GPS (available on October 5).
The largest Apple Watch display yet. New electrical heart sensor. Re-engineered Digital Crown with haptic feedback. Entirely familiar, yet completely new, Apple Watch Series 4 resets the standard for what a watch can be.
The Apple Watch Series 4 is thinner than the previous model, yet boasts a 30% larger display. The interface also displays more details and promises a level of integration users have not yet experienced. Everything about the Series 4 screams fanatical attention to detail and superior engineering.
Apple added an electrical heart sensor (besides the optical sensor) to the Series 4. It allows the wearer to take an electrocardiogram that you can share with your doctor.
The Apple Series 4 is ideal for fitness fanatics, or anyone interested in a more active lifestyle. It records and interprets more workouts than before, and is the ideal fitness companion. It is also a lifestyle partner and the only tool you need to stay connected.
Online pre-orders for both open on September 21, and the iStore will deliver the treasure directly to your door.
- Apple Watch Series 4 GPS 40mm: R329 pm or R7 999 cash
- Apple Watch Series 4 GPS 44mm: R357 pm or R8 599 cash
If you own the Apple Watch Series 3, then you can trade it at an iStore for up to R2400 to purchase the Apple Series 4. You can purchase the Apple Series 4 via FNB financing, or by visiting www.myistore.co.za from 21 September 2018.
Apple describes the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max as “the most advanced iPhones ever,” and “taking the vision for the future of the smartphone to a new level.”
The key features include 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch Super Retina displays with 60 percent greater dynamic range in HDR photos. An improved dual camera system, faster Face ID, wider stereo sound, longer battery life, and it is splash and water resistant.
Both are available for pre-order from today, with the expected release date in stores on September 28. You can purchase both iPhones via FNB financing, or by visiting www.myistore.co.za from 21 September 2018.
*FNB Credit Card Payment Plan, price per month over 37 months, a 40% trade-in value after 24 months
The next generation iPhones come with a ridiculous price tag. At least there is the option to use FNB’s payment plan, which will cost you even more in the end.
