On 16 October Huawei will reveal their biggest and most powerful smartphone to date and the leaks and teases are starting to point at a gaming phone with liquid cooling, a massive OLED screen and 8GBs of RAM. This could be the most powerful gaming smartphone on the market.
Huawei has been on a roll this year with the P20 and P20 Pro and October will see the brand’s Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. Said to have a 4-camera build, the Mate range will be a step up from the P20 in many ways but the real anticipation is behind the Mate 20X which is said to feature more powerful internals and a massive battery. The Mate 20X has been teased by Huawei and in terms of size, it is said to feature a 7.21-inch OLED display with a 2240×1080 resolution.

The Mate 20X will pack a Kirin 980 SoC COU and Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology along with 8GB of RAM. All this will deliver the ability to pack a giant battery with some impressive usage time thanks to the energy-saving features delivered in the Kirin CPU and OLED display. Huawei will be revealing the entire Mate 20 range on 16 October 2018 with the South African launch taking place on 23 October 2018. We will keep you posted on the new devices as we learn more.
