When Sony first revealed its plans and details for its next-gen PS5 console, the company promised that it would be super fast. Now, during a corporate strategy presentation, the company showed off a video which compares the speed of the PlayStation 4 Pro to the PS5 loading times, and it’s fast.

The company used two keywords to describe the direction the next PlayStation would be heading in the future – immersive and seamless.
- Next-generation console: “Immersive” experience created by dramatically increased graphics rendering speeds, achieved through the employment of further improved computational power and a customized ultra-fast, broadband SSD.
- PlayStation streaming: Through the evolution of “Remote Play” and “PlayStation™Now,” provide a seamless game experience anytime, anywhere.
- Remote Play: Turns PlayStation®4(PS4™), which is expected to reach 100 million units in cumulative sales this calendar year, into a streaming game server, providing streaming content at the closest point to users.
- PlayStation Now: Provides immersive game experiences to users regardless of whether they own a PS4 console at all.
Sony compared the speed of the next generation console with the speed of the PlayStation 4 Pro, and tech reporter, Takashi Mochizuki took a video and shared it on the Internet, which you can view below. The loading times are much faster and the speed in general looks like it’s going to be insane.
