Besides Pokémon, the new trailer for POKÉMON Detective Pikachu also gives us more details surrounding the plot details of the upcoming live-action movie. The movie is somewhat based on the 2016-game by the same name and sees Justice Smith’s character of Tim try to find his father who went missing. He encounters a talking Pikachu (motion-capture portrayed by Ryan Reynolds) with amnesia, which only he can understand. The two embark on an adventure together.

POKÉMON Detective Pikachu was directed by Rob Letterman. Unlike Ryan Reynolds, Rita Ora, Suki Waterhouse, and Bill Nighy will appear in the upcoming movie in human form.

Warner Bros. also released a new poster for the upcoming movie, which also features a plethora of Pokémon to find. Have a look below.
