YouTube Rewind 2018 Now The Most Disliked Video Ever

YouTube Rewind Disliked

Earlier this month, YouTube released the YouTube Rewind 2018 video, looking back at the biggest moments of 2018 on their platform. Things didn’t go exactly as planned as YouTube Rewind 2018 quickly gained millions of dislikes. YouTube users are clearly upset as it doesn’t show some of the biggest moments and feature some of the biggest stars. Instead, it focuses a whole lot on Fortnite and makes it seem as if everything is sunshine and roses. Well, this move has backfired in a big way as YouTube Rewind 2018 is the most disliked video ever.

YouTube Rewind 2018 being the most disliked video ever doesn’t come as too much of a surprise since the video got to 5 million dislikes in a matter of days. At the time of writing, the video sits at 12.32 million dislikes, toppling Justin Bieber’s “Baby” which held the top spot with 10 million dislikes for several years. By the time you read this, it might be on 13 or even 14 million dislikes. That’s just how fast things are escalating at the moment.

Baby, however, only had a 48% dislike ratio, while YouTube Rewind sits at a staggering 84.5% ratio. At this rate, the video could hit 15 or even 20 million dislikes before the end of the year and it is definitely one for the record books. Someone call Guinness right now and congratulate Bieber for being in the clear now.

I, for one, think the video is just, for the lack of a better word, cringeworthy. For those who haven’t seen it, check it out below. Further, tell us what you think about YouTube Rewind 2018 becoming the most disliked video in history and if it deserves the flak it is getting from the YouTube community.
