New Captain Marvel Trailer

As expected, the new Captain Marvel trailer dropped in the early hours of the morning. Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, should have a big impact in Avengers 4, as Nick Fury called her in a last-ditch effort to save the Avengers and the universe from Thanos. Brie Larson looks absolutely fantastic in the new Captain Marvel trailer running over 2 minutes of awesomeness. You can watch it at the bottom of this article and I won’t blame you for skipping the text and watching it over and over again.

In two minutes, there is a lot to digest, but everything about it just looks insane. As I mentioned when the first trailer dropped, Captain Marvel punched an old lady on the bus. The old lady has now been confirmed in the trailer to be a Skrull, an alien race that can shapeshift.

The new Captain Marvel trailer also makes it clear that we will understand how Carol Danvers got her immense powers, and that right now she thinks she is a Kree, as she won’t remember her old life as a human in the airforce. There’s a strong indication that the film will follow the same general idea of how Carol got her powers in the comic books when a Kree device exploded.

In the new Captain Marvel trailer, we can also see her fighting in space, literally flying around and blasting ships to bits. Clearly, we will see Captain Marvel show off her powers and immense strength, which should be used to finally defeat Thanos in Avengers 4. Last, but not least, we see a young Nick Fury (with both eyes intact) talking to her cat Goose. Yes, there’s a cat that features in the trailer and it isn’t called Chewie like in the comics. I, for one, simply can’t wait to see Rocket meet Goose in an upcoming Marvel film, because if Goose is like Chewie, then it is actually an alien race called Flerken that takes the form of cats, can grow tentacles and more.

The film is set to release in cinemas on 8 March 2019 and we simply can’t wait to watch it. Check out the new Captain Marvel trailer below and then tell us what you think in the comment section.
