The Last of Us Part II Release Date Possibly Leaked

Last of us part II release date

We haven’t seen much about The Last of Us Part II for several months now since Sony and developer Naughty Dog gave away a free Ellie theme to celebrate Outbreak Day in September last year. Now, a retailer has potentially leaked The Last of Us Part II release date and although it is too early to mark your calendars just yet, one can definitely hope.

According to the leak, which will be discussed below, The Last of Us Part II releases in “October 2019”. As always, take this information with a large helping of salt until such time as Sony or Naughty Dog officially reveals the release date for The Last of Us Part II.

With that being said, this leak comes from a Peruvian retailer going by the name of LawGamers (as first spotted by The Loot Gaming). The retailer recently released a promotional poster for The Last of Us Part II and you can view it below, with the “October 2019” clearly at the bottom of the image.

Sure, rumours should be treated as such and we don’t have any official The Last of Us Part II release date yet. However, as mentioned by GamesRadar, Sony did recently have a Destination PlayStation event where games were presented to retailers and publishers. Therefore, it isn’t impossible that someone from the retailer LawGamers got a bit over-excited or for some reason didn’t know the release date was a secret.
