The new Spider-Man Far From Home trailer was just released. The upcoming Marvel movie sees Tom Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man and picks up after the events of the smash-hit currently on the cinema circuit, Avengers: Endgame.
The new Spider-Man Far From home trailer contains a few Endgame spoilers, so if you haven’t watched it yet, then maybe stop reading and don’t watch the trailer.
As we now know, the Avengers managed to reverse what Thanos did in Infinity War in Endgame. As the new Spider-Man Far From Home trailer shows, Peter Parker and the rest of the world are trying to come to grips with the crazy events that have occurred over the past five years. Peter and his best friend Ned (reprised by Jacob Batalon), along with his crush MJ (reprised by Zendaya) and the rest of the gang go on a European adventure. But Peter just can’t shake Spider-Man’s duties as Nick Fury (reprised by Samuel L. Jackson) recruits him to take down Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio.
In the first trailer, we saw how Spider-Man received a cheque signed by Pepper Potts on behalf of Stark Industries and all of that now makes sense after we’ve watched Avengers: Endgame. The new Spider-Man Far From Home trailer shows how things are pretty heavy for Peter Parker and that the events in Endgame (understandably) broke him a little bit. But Peter pulls it together, because he has to as Mysterio rips apart everything.
Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into cinemas in July 2019. It is one a few Marvel movies fans of the franchise can still look forward to after Avengers: Endgame ended off phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
