Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Download Size, Day 1 Update & New Gameplay Trailer

Sekiro Download size

Our excitement is boiling over for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the latest title created by From Software and famed game director, Hidetaka Miyazaki. We are all ready to die over and over again as the one-armed wolf in the late 16th century Sengoku period and thankfully, the Sekiro download size and even its day 1 update size won’t hold us back too much.

When choosing to buy a game digitally, a big issue for many gamers on capped accounts could be the file size. Thankfully, Sekiro’s file size is reportedly only 12.52GB, while the day 1 update weighs in at 3.67GB. Fully installed, the game takes up roughly 25GB of HDD space on the PS4 and other versions shouldn’t be far off either.

I’ve seen some people who are actually complaining about the download size for Sekiro, as they think that means the game doesn’t have much content. Well, that simply isn’t true as Sekiro is expected to last as long as Bloodborne or Dark Souls III. It’s all about the engine From Software uses for their games and most of their titles aren’t all that big when it comes to the download sizes. The game is also rumoured to run at 1080p and around 60fps on the PS4 Pro, so it doesn’t have those 4k textures that significantly increases the game’s file size.
