Just when you thought you had heard it all. We know Red Dead Redemption 2 touches on a lot of controversial themes throughout its campaign. I recently got to the part where you meet a group of feminists fighting for equal rights in a time where women were treated worse than you could ever imagine.

One of these feminist protestors stand around Saint Dennis, RDR2’s New Orleans and shouts “let me vote” in an attempt to bring the world to life and let the player experience what a dark time it could possibly have been back then for females. This character has a deeper role in the game but the fact of the matter is she is a feminist. Of course, this is the internet and of course, someone would break it by doing something some may laugh at but others will rage at.
YouTuber Shirrako decided to upload a video of him walking up to this feminist and punching her in the face. She then runs for her life screaming “when will this end”. Shirrako jumps on his horse, lassos the feminists and drags her across town before putting her onto the back of his horse. The video then cuts to a part where he throws her in front of an alligator which then eats her alive. He then insists on kicking her in the head a few times and then tossing a stick of dynamite at her corpse to get that last bit of anger out of his system.
Later yesterday, YouTube banned Shirrako and blocked his entire channel. A few hundred people most likely reported it which led to the banning. YouTube has since reversed the ban saying that sometimes they make “mistakes” with these sort of things.
Keep in mind that Shirrako has a wide range of videos on his channel doing all sorts of edgy things. He killed a group of KKK members in the game along with an entire town and even a Hitler-like character you meet in Red Dead Redemption 2. This feminist video does not mean he hates them as it comes across more like a publicity stunt than anything else.
The stunt has also been praised by his viewers with the video sitting on 50k likes compared to 7k dislikes. The entire charade is quite the story as it is a video game and while the video he uploaded is violent, YouTube cannot ban him for doing so which is probably why his channel is back up and running.
