As of now, gamers all over the world have no idea who will make their guest appearance in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11. Since the game’s announcement, gamers have been throwing suggestions around with options for the coolest of characters like IT and the strangest like Shaggy from Scooby Doo.
While it seems like the strangest of pairings ins pop-culture, one fan is having a bit of success with the petition he started to get Shaggy put into Mortal Kombat 11. As for this morning, the petition is sitting on 250,000 signatures.
Why is this even an option? We have no idea but in recent weeks, Shaggy is slowly becoming more and more popular online as his “Powerful Shaggy” memes which originate from Shaggy having supernatural powers such as the ability to possess his co-stars and alter the fabric of time and space (we have no idea either).
This then led to the fan assuming that Shaggy’s crazy new powers could be used to make one badass fighter in MK11. Even Ed Boon is jumping on the whole “Shaggy in Mortal Kombat 11” train with a tweet that shows Shaggy looking all Mortal Kombat-fied.
Hi? Lo? Mid? Grab? I will mix your shit up in fighting games! pic.twitter.com/nzCq4iskj7

There is no doubt that the petition will hit ist requirement before long but does that mean Shaggy will make it into Mortal Kombat 11? We doubt it. Hanna Barbera, the creators and owners of the series won’t take likely to a kid’s character ripping out hearts and spines in one of the goriest games around. If he did make a cameo, it would be a big surprise. Mortal Kombat releases on 23 April 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
