OGA Dota Pit Minor Group Stages Complete – Playoff Bracket Set

It has been an eventful three days of group stages in the OGA Dota Pit Minor and in case you didn’t watch, there were a couple of big upsets on day 1 with Majestic Esports taking down Forward Gaming and Royal Never Give Up defeating NiP in an intense match with a great comeback after losing the first game. Now, the group stages have been completed and the playoffs start today at 11:00 South African time.

The OGA Dota Pit Minor is quite important for pro teams as it features a $300,000 prize pool. More importantly, however, is the 500 DPC points up for grabs. Further, the winner of the OGA Dota Pit Minor receives the final spot in the Disneyland Paris Major, which is what all the teams are gunning for.

After an intense three days of the group stages, we see Royal Never Give Up topping group A, while Alliance sits firmly on top of group B. No teams were eliminated during the group stages. However, group stage placement does affect how the playoff bracket looks and which teams face each other in the first round of the upper bracket. Check out the group stage standings below.

Group A:

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • Gambit Esports

Group B:

  • Alliance
  • Majestic esports
  • EHOME
  • Forward Gaming

Today, we will see two upper bracket matches take place. Check out the details including South African times when the matches start as well as the stream where you can watch the tournament.
