New Intel Core i9-9900K Gaming CPU and South African Pricing

Intel Core i9-9900K

Intel has revealed their 9th generation CPUs and with it comes the Intel Core i9-9900K, which according to Intel is the “world’s best gaming processor”. It is, without a doubt, an extremely powerful CPU that most PC gaming enthusiasts will be foaming at the mouth for. Best of all, local pricing and pre-orders have begun opening up and you don’t have to wait long either.

Intel Core i9-9900K and company

Let’s get one thing out of the way. According to multiple reports, the CPU is indeed extremely powerful and well worth it for gaming. However, there are some questions surrounding the results of initial benchmarks. Further, Intel also revealed a range of Core i9 X processors but those are more focus on workstation machines and cost an absolute fortune. Therefore, let’s focus on the three 9th Generation mainstream CPUs that will be available on 19 October and their local pricing.

Core i9-9900K

  • 95W TDP

These new CPUs include a wealth of features, including hardware-level security technology, Quick Sync for streaming and Optane memory. Further, the Intel’s Turbo Boost 2.0 technology allows for up to 5.0GHz for the cores. Lastly, all three these new CPUs are fully unlockable so if you are into overclocking, then they might be just the upgrade you want to get.
