Ubisoft’s upcoming prequel to the acclaimed Beyond Good and Evil is looking fantastic and it is only getting better. The recent Beyond Good and Evil 2 gameplay stream revealed that a lot more progress has been made with the game and showed off some co-op, exploration, augments and the seamless transition between the planet exploration and the solar system.
First off we have co-op. According to Ubisoft, the game will feature drop in and out co-op that will let your friend join you on in your game world. First off we have co-op. According to Ubisoft, the game will feature drop in and out co-op that will let your friend join you on in your game world.
What you need to keep in mind is that the game is not an MMO like many predicted and by the look of the gameplay, the experience is limited to 2 players at a time only. Ubisoft also goes into detail about the exploration and showcases the seamless transition between land and space. One of the coolest parts is the ability to use your spyglass from space to zoom onto the planet and highlight any specific secrets to explore and solve puzzles.
Lastly, the augments. This feature revolves all around weapons and abilities that you use in the game. Enemies also are equipped with specific augments which add combat depth to easy confrontation. You can identify every enemy and their weapons and augments before you attack so it allows you to prepare for the oncoming fight.
