On 7 December, Marvel almost broke the internet when they finally unleashed the Avengers 4 trailer and gave the film an official title as well, not to mention that they moved the release date closer with one week. Avengers: Endgame will now release on 26 April and the trailer (watch it again at the bottom of this article) is equal parts brilliant and depressing. The latter is due to poor old Tony Stark trapped in space with seemingly no hope of survival. That’s why the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, also known as NASA, responded with a humorous Tweet that just goes to show how big of a deal Avengers: Endgame is after fans begged NASA to rescue Tony.
With NASA responding to the Avengers: Endgame trailer, it is clear that the MCU is being followed by just about everybody and it is quite a bit deal. NASA didn’t just respond with something like “oh great trailer” but instead, took things a few small steps further, using that famous but erroneous quote from the Apollo 13 film based on actual events.
Hey @Marvel, we heard about Tony Stark. As we know, the first thing you should do is listen in mission control for “@Avengers, we have a problem.” But if he can’t communicate, then we recommend ground teams use all resources to scan the skies for your missing man pic.twitter.com/zavXrsPljq

As most of you know, the Avengers: Endgame trailer shows Tony in a very dire situation and the response from NASA is absolutely perfect in my opinion. Let’s just hope that Tony does get out of this situation and returns to Earth, as it would be devasting to lose such an iconic hero. Keep in mind that Robert Downey Jr., as well as multiple others like Chris Evans’ contracts, are said to expire after Avengers: Endgame so we might lose a few characters for good if the contracts do not get renewed.
