One of 2019’s most anticipated games just became a 2018 release. Kingdom Hearts III has leaked in retail sparking outrage from fans and game developers alike. Whatever you do, stay away from videos and all social media regarding the game because gamers who managed to get the game early have not stopped publishing content.
Kingdom Hearts III is set for release on 29 January 2019 but the game seems to have been leaked in Japan over a month early. According to various short clips on Twitter, someone managed to get their hands on an Xbox One copy of the game, installed it, and even showed some very early in-game footage. The gameplay has since been removed from YouTube (of course) but the images are still out there showing the game’s main menu screen and some other footage which I will not go into detail of for spoiler sakes.
Heads up, Kingdom Hearts fans:
The full version (!) of KH3 appears to be out in the wild (some screenshots and videos exist that I won’t share here)
But yeah, be careful on both social media and YouTube pic.twitter.com/6QKhu31IaZ

Game Director, Tetsuya Nomura released a statement on Facebook expressing his concern about the leak. Square Enix is aware of the leak and how it happened and they will continue to work on reducing the online spoilers for the next seven weeks. Tetsuya also revealed that the epilogue and secret ending movie, which are the biggest spoilers in the game, will be released at a later date to the public, but only after the game’s release.
We want everyone to be able to equally experience the full game after its release, so we ask for your continued support on this matter
If you do wish to get involved in the leak in any way, a ResetEra forum seems to be housing the leaked footage. Kingdom Hearts III releases on 29 January 2019 for PS4 and Xbox One.
