The new GoT season 8 photos show off some of the classic characters from the HBO show. The pictures might not give away too many details surrounding the much-anticipated final season of Game of Thrones, but they offer fans a peek at what can be expected.

The one thing to immediately notice from the GoT season 8 photos, is that Jon Snow (portrayed by Kit Harrington) is securely at Daenerys’s (portrayed by Emilia Clarke) side somewhere in a very Wintery setting. There are two other GoT season 8 photos featuring these two major characters separately, but this one especially stands out because of the united front it portrays.

We’re given another glimpse of Jon Snow, this time in what looks to be his home of Winterfell, as well as an individual shot of Daenerys looking regal.

We’re finally given a glimpse of Bran Stark (portrayed by Isaac Hempstead Wright), who has been noticeably absent from previous promotional material for season 8 of Game of Thrones.

Sansa (portrayed by Sophie Turner) and Arya Stark (portrayed by Maisie Williams) are also featured in the photos from the final season. They look awesome and ready for Winter.

The Lannisters are obviously back, too. Interestingly, we see Cersei Lannister (portrayed by Lena Heady) sitting on what appears to be the Iron Throne.

If you forgot about Samwell Tarly aka Sam (portrayed by John Bradley West), then these new GoT season 8 photos will remind you that he’s still there, probably with his nose in a scroll somewhere.

Other notable characters to be featured in these GoT season 8 photos include Gwendoline Christie’s Brienne of Tarth, Davos Seaworth (portrayed by Liam Cunningham) and Varys (portrayed by Conleth Hill).

The final season of Game of Thrones is set to be unleashed on 14 April 2019.
