It’s been a long time coming, but the Darkest Dungeon Announcer Pack has finally released in Dota 2 and it sounds fantastic. After the latest update, you can now sample the pack to see if you will replace it with your GabeN one (we know you all have it equipped) and decide if you want to throw your wallet at it.
Darkest Dungeon Announcer Pack
The Darkest Dungeon Announcer Pack was announced over three years ago so it is definitely a long time coming. It is, of course, from the awesome RGP of the same name developed by Red Hook. Voice actor Wayne June voices the massive number of lines in the pack and from the samples, it does sound awesome.
For South African players, the pack will set you back R142 which is quite steep if you ask me. Then, there is also a new TheFatRat Warrior Songs Music Pack which you can pick up for R72.
Darkest Dungeon fans will instantly recognize voice actor Wayne June’s voice as the Ancestor in the RPG. What makes this Announcer Pack special is that it has a whopping 715 recorded for it. If that seems like overkill for you, especially since events in a game that announcers normally throw their lines at are much less, then you are not alone.
Well, Valve has actually created new triggers specifically for the Darkest Dungeon Announcer Pack, which means you will hear the Anscestor more in a game and respond to in-game events that no other Announcer Pack has in the past. Basically, it should feel like a narration of your Dota 2 match and that is pretty awesome.
Will you be picking up the Darkest Dungeon Announcer Pack and are you a fan of the RPG and happen to be a Dota 2 player as well? Let us know in the comment section below.
