Even though there is some negativity towards the upcoming Captain Marvel film, we can’t be more excited to see it. From all the trailers I’ve seen so far and every little bit of detail revealed, Captain Marvel looks awesome. After some early screenings of the film, Captain Marvel post-credit scenes have been confirmed.
It is not surprising at all that Captain Marvel will have a post-credit scene, as well as a mid-credit scene. However, it is always good to have confirmation so you don’t have to wonder if you should be sitting there looking at all the credits fly past. As reported by IGN and many others who were fortunate enough to see a pre-screening of Captain Marvel, the film will feature two scenes, a post-credit scene and a mid-credit scene.
The film’s runtime clocks in at 2 hours and 12 minutes if you were wondering and you will have to wait until the very end of the credits for the final scene. I, for one, haven’t seen the film, so no spoilers here, but I hope we will see an Avengers: Endgame tie-in scene and something about Goose the Cat, Carol’s “feline” friend.
From the pre-screenings, we’ve also seen some excellent feedback from critics that made me want to watch the film even more. Scott Menzel, Editor-in-Chief of We Live Entertainment, shared his first reaction to the film on Twitter.
Captain Marvel is everything that I hoped it would be. It feels completely unlike any other Marvel film. A unique and fresh take on an origin story that feels new. Brie Larson is fantastic as Carol Danvers. This is one of my favorite Marvel movies of all time. #CaptainMarvel pic.twitter.com/0ou7HU93MY

Another example is Ash Crossan’s first reaction (from Entertainment Tonight) after watching Captain Marvel.

Then, Slashfilm’s Peter Sciretta’s first reaction definitely makes me both intrigued and excited.
#CaptainMarvel is a great origin story. Brie’s buddy cop chemistry with @SamuelLJackson is so much fun and her relationship with Lashana Lynch is the real heart of it. Ben Mendelsohn and the cat both steal the show.

Overall, the film is being very well received so far, but it remains to be seen what the general public will think of it. We will find out soon enough as Captain Marvel punches her way into cinemas on 8 March 2019.
What do you hope to see in the Captain Marvel post-credit and mid-credit scenes? Let us know in the comment section below.
