Megarom Interactive, South African distributors for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 have announced that the highly anticipated shooter will be releasing a day early in SA. Instead of the official release date which was set for Friday, 12 October 2018, the game will now be available from Thursday, 11 October. This means that gamers will be able to get hold of their copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 a couple of hours before launch day if they have pre-ordered at participating retailers.
Megarom announced that specific retailers will be opening at 17:00 tomorrow in order to get copies to customers by 18:00. Raru will also be shipping the games early.
BT Games will be opening all retail stores at 17:00 tomorrow in order to start giving out the game at 18:00. Management has urged people to arrive at 17:00 in order to get their payments done before 18:00. However, the stores will remain open until 20:00 for those at work and unable to arrive early.
Game4U will be handing out the game from 18:00 onwards on 11 October 2018 for those who pre-ordered.
Raru says that customers that pre-ordered the game will be receiving it sometime on Thursday, 11 October 2018 prior to the game’s official launch day. It is unclear whether or not this applies to all pre-orders. Make sure you track your order to stay up to date with its arrival time.
This is a pretty cool thing that is happening and it will allow players time to download that hefty 50GB update. Hopefully, these few extra hours means that come midnight, you will be able to jump into the action and play Black Ops 4.
