Avengers Paychecks: How Much Did The Stars Make For Endgame?

Avengers Paychecks

Avengers: Endgame is big. Like really, really big. It made over a $1 billion in its opening weekend, with 377 000 South African attendees watching it at the cinema during its opening weekend. The Avengers paychecks were obviously also massive for their work in the 22nd movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Having smashed many box office records, including a few South African box office records, you better know that some of the Avengers paychecks matched the success of Endgame.

Scarlett Johansson

She will reportedly be taking in about $20 million for her Black Widow prequel movie, in which she is set to reprise her role as Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow and will be producing the movie too. She is believed to have made about the same amount for Endgame.

Chris Hemsworth

Having signed a five-movie contract in 2010, and renegotiating it in 2017 for Infinity War and Endgame, Chris Hemsworth is believed to have brought in between $15 to $20 million for his portrayal of the God of Thunder aka Thor in Endgame.

Chris Evans

Captain America signed and renegotiated a similar deal to Chris Hemsworth and it’s believed that Chris Evans made between $15 to $20 million for his role in Endgame.

Robert Downey Jr.

The star who started it all back in 2008 with Iron Man has the biggest of the Avengers paychecks, fit for Tony Stark himself. It’s reported that the star made $5 million a day for his three days’ work for 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. He went on to score a $75 million payday for his role in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War. This is thanks to apparent bonuses that he has negotiated with Disney’s head, Kevin Feige. So, his paycheck for Avengers: Endgame is bound to be huge.

An agent who is familiar with how the Avengers paychecks and bonuses work explained that, previously, bonuses kicked in at the $500 million mark. That has now been moved up to $1.5 billion. But with Endgame already making $1.2 billion during its opening weekend, the Avengers paychecks will be coming in very soon.
