John Wick 3 Shoots Down Endgame as the Number 1 Movie in South Africa

Avengers; Endgame had to end its reign at the top of the South African box office sometime. After having been number one in the country for three consecutive weeks, there’s a new number one in town. John Wick 3 debuted this past weekend and became the number one movie in South Africa.

Avengers: Endgame remains as the highest grossing movie currently on the cinema circuits. After bringing in over R30 million in its opening weekend in South Africa, Avengers: Endgame has now made R94 185 643 domestically. Globally, it has made over $2 billion, joining only a few other movies that have been able to achieve that milestone.

10. The Queen’s Corgi

This sweet story follows the life of (as the title suggests) the queen’s dog, Rex. Rex is chased out of the palace and needs to find his way home. This animation movie is definitely one to watch with the whole family.

9. Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile follows the story of serial killer, Ted Bundy, who is portrayed by Zach Efron. The movie looks thrilling and delightfully disturbing.

Little follows the story of tech mogul Jordan Sanders (portrayed by Regina Hall). She’s a pretty hard-hitter, feared by most of her staff. But everything hilariously changes when she is magically transformed into a 13-year-old version of herself.
