Ghostwire Tokyo Announced by Bethesda

Ghostwire Tokyo

At Bethesda’s E3 Press Conference, a new game called Ghostwire Tokyo was announced by Tango Gameworks, the developers behind The Evil Within franchise. Ghostwire Tokyo looks incredibly creepy and revolves around strange disappearances in Tokyo. This isn’t a survival horror like The Evil Within, however, as the game is described as an action-adventure title.

Since it was just a teaser trailer for Ghostwire Tokyo, we don’t know much at the moment but it does look creepy. There is no official release date just yet, nor is there even an indication of which platforms the game will come to, but I am assuming PC and consoles. The only thing Bethesda shared about Ghostwire Tokyo at the time of writing is a story description, which you can read below and then check out the teaser trailer at the bottom of this article.

After strange disappearances hit Tokyo’s population, it’s up to you to uncover the source and purge the city of a strange, new evil. Armed with your own mysterious spectral abilities, you will face down the occult, unravel conspiracy theories and experience urban legends like never before. Don’t fear the unknown. Attack it.

It sounds interesting to me and the teaser trailer looked fantastic. No gameplay was shown off so we will have to wait until Bethesda decides to show more of the game at a later stage.
