Call of Duty: Mobile is the new free-to-play mobile game being launched later this year by Activision and Tencent. This iOS and Android version of the popular first-person shooter franchise will be launching later this year and will give mobile gamers the opportunity to play some of the franchise’s most popular maps and modes.
This new Call of Duty: Mobile version is being developed by Tencent’s mobile studio, Timi, and is also not the only mobile version of the franchise to be in development. Candy Crush creator, King, announced that it was working on a Call of Duty: Mobile game, too after Activision bought King.
The mobile version of the Call of Duty game will draw inspiration from other popular entries in the franchise like Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Call of Duty: Mobile will also feature some of the CoD multiplayer modes that fans have come to love, like Free-For-All and Search and Destroy. This means that you’ll be able to play Call of Duty: Mobile with your gamer fans, right from your mobile device. Multiplayer is described as “the foundation” of this new mobile version of Call of Duty.
