Next month, you will be able to play Call of Duty on your mobile device. Activision and developer Tencent Games have announced that Call of Duty: Mobile release date as 1 October 2019, featuring iconic maps, multiple modes, characters from past games and more. Best of all, it is free-to-play and will be making its way to Android and iOS devices soon.
Call of Duty: Mobile is free-to-play, but the game will feature a Battle Pass that players can purchase if they so choose, giving players the opportunity to get more in-game items. However, the big draw here is that you will be able to iconic maps for free, including the likes of Nuketown, Crash and a whole lot more.
Further, the confirmed multiplayer modes include a 100-player Battle Royale, Search and Destroy, Team Deathmatch and free-for-all. It is important to note that this isn’t a port of an existing Call of Duty game, but more of a greatest hits compilation of titles from the franchise all thrown together into a mobile mixing pot where you can rank up and compete, all while unlocking characters like Soap and much more.
With the Call of Duty: Mobile release date announcement, Activision and Tencent Games did not reveal the system requirements for the game but you can pre-register on the game’s official website here.
