It’s been five years since AMC’s successful TV show, Breaking Bad, aired its final episode. The show was a huge success and created a massive fanbase. A successful spinoff series called Better Call Saul was created, too. Now, a Breaking Bad mobile game is in the works and we’re excited to see what’s being cooked up.
The Breaking Bad mobile game will be called Breaking Bad: Criminal Elements. This free-to-play Breaking Bad mobile game is being developed by Plamee and will be published by FTX Games. The mobile game will be strategy-focused and will see players being tossed into the dark world of meth-cooking and drug-dealing. Vince Gilligan – writer of the show and the new Breaking Bad mobile game – had the following to say about the upcoming game.
[FTX Games] care as much about the details as our creative team, and I have been very impressed with their commitment to building an authentic extension of the series’ story universe. I think this will be a fun experience for fans, to interact with characters from Breaking Bad in a completely new way.
Along with the lead characters, Walt and Jesse, other popular characters from the show are set to join the cast in the Breaking Bad mobile game. These characters include Gus Fring, Saul Goodman, and Mike Ehrmantraut.
Other details surrounding this mobile game based on the popular show, are being guarded for now. We might get some more details later this year.
Better Call Saul is set to release its fifth season this year, proving that the Breaking Bad franchise is still going strong. This could be a good sign for the release of the Breaking Bad mobile game, as it shows that the franchise has major staying power and a huge, dedicated fanbase.
