Sometimes you wake up in the morning and read depressing gaming news, from downgrades to file sizes that you simply don’t know how you will be able to download. Today, we’ve got some entertaining news for you, as a Battlefield V dev gets banned from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
Black Ops 4 delivers a great multiplayer package and there is no doubt some competition between Battlefield and Call of Duty. It’s not surprising that developers on both sides play the other’s latest titles. This friendly competition has poured over into something I found quite hilarious, as Florian Le Bihan, the core gameplay designer for Battlefield V, has been banned from Black Ops 4, apparently for being too good at the game.
Florian Le Bihan took to Twitter, showing an image that he was banned and asking Black Ops 4 developers Treyarch if they “could please not” do such a thing.

It all seems very light-hearted and I can’t help but wonder how long this ban will last. Further, maybe DICE will retaliate by banning some Treyarch employees from Battlefield V when it launches. At that point, we should all get the popcorn ready for some fun.
The Battlefield V dev continued on by sharing a video of him killing some other players in Black Ops 4, with the following chirp thrown into the mix for good measure:
Accept this as a token of my appreciation towards your game (please unban).
Florian Le Bihan also shared a video of him dominating in a Black Ops 4 match and it has already racked up over 200,000 views on YouTube. The video is titled “TreyarchPLS” and you should watch it below.
