A few months back Netflix announced that they would be working on a Witcher live-action show that would debut sometime in 2019. The show would be set based on the popular Witcher series and follow the story of Geralt of Rivia.
The announcement was also met with Henry Cavill, Superman in the current DC film Universe, revealing that he would play the role of Geralt of Rivia. Many fans of the series were concerned about this but we will have to wait to see how this all plays out when the show releases in the distant future. However, we now have a sneak peek at Henry playing Geralt as Netflix released the first look at the character.
Netflix took to Twitter to show off a brief video clip of Henry waling towards the camera without saying anything.

Many people are saying that he looks less “Geralt” and more “Legolas”. Some people even confused him with Lucius Malfoy. One thing that everyone is complaining about is his wig. People claim that it looks cheap and very fake.
So we now know what Geralt looks like but I am interested to see how Freya Allan pulls of the iconic Ciri. Anya Chalotra will be taking on the role of Yennefer and Ana Shaffer as Triss. The Netflix show is set to air in late 2019. Let us know what you think about Henry’s look in the comments below.
