Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of our most anticipated games of 2018 and I’m almost positive it will be on the Wishlist of most gamers who own a PS4 or Xbox One. Up until now, we didn’t have a solid release date to look forward to, but now, we can finally count down the days until 26 October 2018 when Rockstar Games will finally release the highly anticipated sequel to Red Dead Redemption.
The news comes directly from Rockstar Games and not from something like a retailer leak or a rumour. In a short but sweet post, Rockstar Games announced the release date and apologized to fans for the delay, noting that they need a bit more time to polish up the game.
Read the announcement below:
“We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October
We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it.” – Source
A solid release date is, of course, very exciting. Now, we know when to put in leave and tell everyone that we will be busy for the next two weeks starting 26 October. Arguably even more exciting is that Rockstar said that would share a lot more information about the game in coming weeks. Further, Rockstar asks fans to please check out the new screenshots. Well, since you asked nicely Rockstar, let’s take a look below.
