Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is without a doubt my most anticipated game of March. I loved the first one and I am sure the sequel is going to be simply fantastic. With that being said, multiple delays have taken place so the wait has been a bit longer than we have expected.

Originally set for release in November 2017, the game was delayed until January and then again until 23 March 2018. It seems that we will finally get to explore the kingdom of Ding Dong Dell soon and more details on the upcoming game have been revealed in an interview with wccftech

Before we get to that, the PC requirements for the game have been listed on Steam. It is the first time the series is releasing on a platform other than PS4, so PC gamers can look forward to experiencing this great RPG.

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1 64bit, Windows 8.1 64bit Windows 10 64bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 / AMD FX-6300

Wccftech spoke to Akihiro Hino, President and CEO of Level-5 and main writer on the game and he spilt some details about the game's mechanics as well as side quests and PS4 Pro support. If you aren't aware, the game will feature a Kingdom Mode where players will be able to build and manage their own kingdom as Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, former king of Ding Dong Dell who gets thrown off his throne after an invasion of evil. Kingdom Mode will let you recruit characters as members of your team and help expand the kingdom.

When it comes to the overall playtime of the game, expect a good 60-hour experience as Akihiro mentions that just the side quests and Kingdom Mode will take up at least 40-hours of playtime to finish. This is then added to the 10-20 hour story. The first game took me 80 hours to platinum so this would be in line with the original.

As for PlayStation 4 Pro support, the game will feature a dynamic 4K resolution and run at 60 FPS. Both the standard PS4 and PS4 Pro will also support HDR to bring the game to life. I cannot wait to see this all in action when it releases in March.
