14 Days of Fortnite Coming Back This Week

14 days of fortnite

If you’ve been playing Fortnite over the holiday season then you’ve probably been enjoying the 14 Days of Fortnite event and all the new challenges it brings. However, you might have also been disappointed when you couldn’t complete all the 14 Days of Fortnite limited time mode challenges and get all those rewards because you thought you had more time.

Due to some miscommunication from Epic Games, the developer has decided to bring back 14 Days of Fortnite this week and you will be able to get all those challenges and rewards before the event finishes up for good on 15 January. Epic did apologize for the communication issue and offer the Equalizer Glider as compensation but they didn’t stop there, making the event available again this week.

In a post, Epic Games explained that:

We communicated an incorrect end date for the 14 Days of Fortnite event and did not feel the Equalizer Glider compensation was the right approach. After further discussion, we’ve decided to bring back this event early next week through January 15 at 3 AM ET(0800 UTC). We’ll also be enabling some of the most popular Limited Time Modes that were available during the event.

Players who were unable to complete those Challenges will be able to earn all of the rewards they may have initially missed out on. All Challenges will be available to complete for the entire duration of the event. Unfortunately, progress on partially completed challenges has to be reset.

That’s pretty nice of Epic to extend the event for basically a whole week and hopefully, everyone will be able to get all the rewards they want and complete every challenge. Sure, partial progress on challenges did need to get reset, but with a week to get them done it hopefully won’t be much of a problem.

What do you still want to complete in the 14 Days of Fortnite event? Let us know in the comment section below.
